About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished academic leader to serve as Dean – Research, responsible for driving the institution's overall research strategy, vision, and output. The Dean will lead research initiatives, doctoral programs, funded projects, and industry-academia collaborations while fostering a strong culture of innovation and scholarly excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the institution's overall research strategy and vision
- Drive research output, funded projects, and grant acquisition
- Oversee PhD program administration and doctoral research quality
- Establish research centres, laboratories, and innovation initiatives
- Build partnerships with industry, government, and research organizations
- Promote publications, patents, IPR, and research commercialization
- Mentor faculty on research methodology and funding proposals
- Support institutional rankings (NIRF) and research-based accreditation
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Ph.D. from a recognized university with a strong research record
- Significant experience in academic leadership and research administration (15+ Years)
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Experience securing research grants and funded projects
- Knowledge of IPR, patents, and research commercialization
