About the Role

We are seeking a distinguished academic and legal professional to serve as Dean – School of Law. The Dean will provide academic, strategic, and administrative leadership to the School of Law and drive excellence in legal education, research, industry engagement, student development, and institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic and academic leadership to the School of Law
Develop and strengthen undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and professional law programs
Lead curriculum development and ensure alignment with current legal and industry requirements
Ensure compliance with applicable UGC, BCI, university, and regulatory requirements
Build relationships with courts, law firms, corporates, legal professionals, government institutions, and professional bodies
Promote legal research, publications, conferences, seminars, and consultancy
Strengthen moot courts, legal aid clinics, internships, clinical legal education, and practical training
Develop faculty recruitment, mentoring, research, and professional development initiatives
Improve student placements and career opportunities
Encourage national and international academic collaborations
Manage academic planning, budgets, infrastructure, and institutional resources
Represent the School of Law at academic and professional forums

Eligibility & Qualifications

LL.M. / Ph.D. in Law from a recognized institution
Strong academic and research credentials
Significant experience in legal education and academic administration (15+ Years)
Professor / Associate Professor-level experience preferred
Strong knowledge of legal education, curriculum development, accreditation, and regulatory requirements
Professional legal experience and Bar Council exposure will be an advantage
