Role Overview
We are looking for a ServiceNow CMDB Developer / Automation Engineer to build, customize, and automate CMDB workflows on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring clean, reconciled, and reliable configuration data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize CMDB-related applications, workflows, and business rules on the ServiceNow platform
- Build and maintain CI classes, relationships, and identification/reconciliation rules
- Automate CMDB data population, cleanup, and reconciliation using scripts and integrations
- Develop and support Discovery, Service Mapping, and integration workflows feeding the CMDB
- Build custom scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer) to automate CMDB processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve CMDB data integrity and integration issues
- Collaborate with ITOM and CMDB analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with a focus on CMDB/ITOM modules
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting
- Experience with the Identification & Reconciliation (IRE) engine and CI Class Manager
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and Flow Designer
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- ServiceNow CSA/CIS certification is a plus
